Robert Waldeck currently lives and works in Kitchener Ontario. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelors of Education degree from the University of Western Ontario. His work has been exhibited at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery, the Robert Langen Gallery (Wilfrid Laurier University), LOOP Gallery (Toronto), and throughout the United States, including the Limner Gallery (New York City), and the Michael Himovitz Gallery (Sacramento, California). Waldeck has also worked as an instructor for institutions that include Wilfrid Laurier University, the University of Waterloo, the Toronto School of Art, McMaster University, and Forest Heights Collegiate Institute.

Although his primary practice is painting and drawing Waldeck enjoys working in other media that complement these two disciplines such as experimental and documentary video, digital photography, and image manipulation via computer software. Working between traditional and digital methods of generating images gives Waldeck the opportunity to explore different modes and techniques of creating artwork while maintaining an individual aesthetic.
